Our Story
Founded by Elvis Valentine, Dontino Refills was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to ensure that no Tanzanian lacks access to safe, affordable drinking water.
We recognized that while clean water is a basic human right, many communities face barriers to accessing it reliably. At the same time, single-use plastic bottles were creating an environmental crisis. Dontino Refills emerged as a solution to both challenges.
Today, we operate multiple refill stations across Dar es Salaam, serving hundreds of customers daily while preventing tonnes of plastic waste from entering our environment. Our journey is just beginning, and we’re committed to expanding our impact across Tanzania.
